Bold new trailer reveals Screamer’s opening gameplay and world

February 12, 2026 – Milestone today releases a brand-new trailer for Screamer, a futuristic, story-driven arcade racing game. It’s heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 26, 2026, with Early Access starting March 23.

The video opens with Survive, a track-cutting song by J-Pop group WAGAMAMARAKIA, and quickly paints the picture of Screamer’s opening hours. Expect a dynamic blend of JRPG-inspired storytelling, cinematic cutscenes, and electrifying racing action. The narrative introduces each team’s backstory and motivations for entering The Tournament—the planet’s largest illegal street race. Beyond the huge prize money offered by the mysterious Mr. A, there’s a larger puzzle driving Screamers to gamble everything on Neo Rey’s streets. The roster of cars mirrors this diversity, with each ride offering distinct handling and abilities tied to its driver’s personality and style.
Players will hear lively, character-driven dialogue performed by international actors, while gradually learning the game’s core systems. Early tutorials cover the Twin Stick control scheme, giving players precise control over every vehicle, and the Echo System—the unique tech behind both offense and defense—making Screamer’s cars feel almost immortal.
These opening sequences blend story and action to set the stage for the full gameplay experience. As the story unfolds, players will encounter special events like Team Races, where simply crossing the finish line first isn’t a guarantee of victory.
